Hello. I am Connie Davidson and this year I am the assistant for Red and Yellow groups.
I have been working as an assistant at Emmanuel for over 13 years. I currently hold a Certificate 3 in Children’s Services but I am working towards my Diploma which hopefully will be completed by May.
Connie has a lovely manner with our multicultural children. Her outstanding ability to see opportunities and to find resources for extending the learning enrich everyone’s kinder experience.
I live locally in Oakleigh South, with my wonderful husband Noel, my son Thomas 22 and daughter Jessica 19. My eldest daughter Laura and her fiancé live in their own house in Clyde. My disabled brother-in-law Stephen, has lived with us ever since his parents passed away. I don’t have any dogs at the moment but we dog sit Laura’s greyhound sometimes.
The favourite part of my job is spending time with your children, they are bright, funny, honest, creative, trusting and full of personality! I also enjoy having fun, laughing and being creative with the children and developing my relationship with our wonderful families and learning about their cultures.
In my free time I like to spend time with family and friends. I like going out for a movie or a show and visiting galleries, shopping, doing crosswords. I also love weekend escapes with my husband and enjoying a dinner out and travelling.
